A favorite book of children for generations, and reprinted many times, through the modern day. This is an early edition, perhaps from around 1918 when Volland expanded and established offices in cities other than Chicago, as the publisher's city is given as Joliet, Illinois, New York, and Boston . Difficult to find with a presentation box intact.
