A family living in the city decide to move to the country and own a farm. They tour ten large farms before deciding to buy a “little old run-down farm, and they fixed everything up.” Dahlov Ipcar (1917-2017), was an American author and illustrator, born in Vermont, raised with bohemian influences in Greenwich Village, NYC, and settled with her husband on a farm in Georgetown, Maine. Actively painting since a young child, she not only illustrated books but undertook large murals in public buildings. Her works are in both private and public collections.
