A very traditional version of Robert Southey’s original story, with a “great big father bear,” a “mother bear of middle-size,” and a “funny little baby-bear.” Southey’s original story has undergone many changes, the cast of bears and visitor morphing from three bachelor bears and an old woman escaped from a correctional facility, to the more modern and familiar version featuring a family of bears - Mama, Papa, and Baby bear. Goldilocks is the visitor in this version.
