The boy paper doll advertising card features a 3 ¾” uncut doll dressed in white undergarments with red stockings and black button shoes. Included are a navy military style costume with a sword and hat, and a white sailor suit featuring a red collar and neckerchief, and a hat. The girl doll is 3 9/16” tall wearing white undergarments and blue stockings and black strap shoes. Included are two coats, one a pale blue coat trimmed in white fur with a muff, and a straw bonnet with a blue bow, the second is a red coat trimmed with brown fur and tied with a large blue and white sash with a white fur bonnet.
The Western & Southern Life Insurance Company was established in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1888 and continues to operate today.
