Seventeen small wood engraved vignettes illustrate the text with decorative borders on each page. The text reads as a conversation between a mother and daughter about animals and their use to man, a discussion about textiles and their source, and ends with a religious reminder they are all provided by God. Beautifully printed by Sidney Babcock from the New Haven family of printers.
