12 mo; 111pp; stiff yellow wrapper, color pictorial of a witch stirring a cauldron on front, blue onlay to front wrapper with “Wetmore Declamation Bureau” and address, ownership in pen; a few notes in pencil, creasing to lower corner; very good. Three (3) handwritten sheets laid-in.



A short history of the holiday directed to Hallowe’en Merrymakers states “It is the night upon which supernatural influences are supposed to prevail; when gnomes, elves and witches join with the spirits of the dead, bringing confusion and terror to mortals.”
