A lovely copy of the first story in the Marjorie Series by Carolyn Wells. Carolyn Wells (1869-1942) was a librarian for the Rahway Library Association in New Jersey and a prolific writer of children’s books, especially girl’s series books. Other series titles include the Patty Books, the Two Little Women Books, and the Dorrance Books.
