Lovely art-deco style decoration to the cloth binding on this late 19th or early 20th century copy of Plays and Games for Little Folks. Other publications of this title by McLoughlin are bound with printed boards, and a printing date of c. 1889, and it seems that these are earlier. While the boards feature an art-deco illustration, the art on the title page of this copy is most certainly 1880-1890.
A lovely activity book with suggestions and rules for games, art, songs, etc., for the elementary aged child. A beautiful bright and tight copy.
