An interesting look at Maine in the mid-19th century. No publishing date, but the Sunday School Statistics are dated June 1869 from the Sabbath School Teachers’ Convention and the Statistics of Maine are from the year 1860. Statistics and advertisements by county and town give a glimpse of the state’s business climate post-Civil War.
