Two of the bookplates contained in this volume are of interest. Frederick Baldwin Adams, Jr. was a bibliophile and director of the Pierpont Morgan Library in New York City from 1938-1969. His bookplate is located on the inside of the first fold of the folder. The bookplate of a Donald S. Freidl or Friedy (unable to decipher printed signature) was designed as a caricature plate by Miguel Covarrubias, a well-regarded Harlem Renaissance illustrator and caricaturist.
