Accompanying the patriotic illuminated alphabet are small vignettes defining each word. Several spelling and reading lessons are included, and a rhyming verse is titled “Alphabet Jingles,” “Great A, little a, / Bouncing B, / The cat’s in the cup-board, / and can’t see me.”.
