A clever book teaching multiplication with a focus on boys. Illustrations of boys walking with books slung on their backs, swinging on ropes, hats in a cloakroom, playing cricket, and pictures of ships at sea. A humorous illustration titled “Twice TWELVE are TWENTY-FOUR / Old Ladies drinking Tea.” features the silhouette of a woman appearing to be a witch on the curtains.
