Blod [?] From Her Teacher”; publisher’s string binding; fp and pictorial title page hand-colored; 7 full-page hand-colored wood-engraved illustrations; all text within a decorative border; wrapper spine chipped with loss, light hand-soiling to boards and some pages; very good. A collection of children’s songs and short stories is illustrated with lovely wood engravings, some signed by the engraver, John Andrew. This copy starts with the poem “Thanksgiving Day.” The poems and stories deal with childhood activities and emotions, including death.
