Jean Ingelow (1820-1897) was a popular British poet and author. This volume records the common events and dreams of a woman’s life from the age of seven to the age of forty-nine, hence the title, Songs of Seven.

Beautifully illustrated with fine wood engravings picturing a woman at the different stages of her life.
