The story of Cowboy Jim is presented as a play, and the enclosed booklet labels each scene and sets out the dialog between Jim and his horse, Spotty. Illustrated by Richard M. Powers (1921-1996), a member of the American Society of Illustrators, and remembered for his illustration of science fiction and fantasy books.
