Elizabeth Thacher Hurd (1910-1997) was a prolific American author of children’s books. Her husband, the illustrator, Clement Hurd (1908-1988), may be best known for his illustration collaborations with Margaret Wise Brown in the books Goodnight Moon and Runaway Bunny.
