Wonderful early views of Augusta including the U.S. Arsenal, the Maine Insane Asylum, Fort Weston with a large log cabin, churches, bridges, court houses, and the flood in 1887 at Market Square. Although the illustrations appear to be photographs, they are gray tone chromolithographs from a monotone photograph.
