The Raphael Tuck’s company fine work in printing coupled with the die-cut produces a memorable children’s book. Started as a post card company, until WWI, the fine printing work was contracted back in Tuck’s home country of Germany, including in Bavaria and Saxony. In 1893 the company was appointed the Royal Warrant of Appointment by Queen Victoria, and honor that has been renewed by subsequent rulers.
